Wastewater treatment
The
characteristics of printing and dyeing wastewater are high COD and high chroma
content. At present, polyacrylamide flocculant (PAM) is mostly used in the
treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater. Compared with traditional
coagulant PAC (polyaluminium chloride) and PFS (polyferric sulfate), PAM
flocculant has the characteristics of faster coagulation settling speed, smaller
sludge volume, lower residual amount of wastewater after treatment and lower
treatment cost. Non-ionic polyacrylamide and anionic polyacrylamide are usually
used to treat wastewater depending on the exact dyes.
