1. General info
Etherifying agent(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyltrimethyl ammonium chloride, QUAT 188) is a cationic monomer, which can be widely used to produce cationic starch, cationic polyacrylamide, electroplating additives, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, etc.
(1). Papermaking industry: Cationic etherifying agent is an important auxiliary in paper industry, which is widely used in chemical modification of starch, cellulose and chitosan. The modified cationic starch can be used as paper surface sizing agent, retention and filter aid, reinforcing agent and so on.
(2). Textile industry: cotton fiber modified by etherifying agent can improve its adhesion to dyes, and the modified cationic starch can be used as warp sizing agent.
(3). Water treatment industry: The cationic polymer synthesized by the etherifying agent and other monomers is widely used as flocculant in water purification.

3. Packaging and storing
