How to Effectively Shorten the Dissolution Time of Polyacrylamide?
The dissolution time of polyacrylamide products
is not only related to its molecular weight, hydrolysis degree and quality, but
also closely related to the surrounding environment and operation methods.
Generally,
the higher the molecular weight of polyacrylamide products, the slower the
dissolution, the longer the time needed. PAM particles first absorb water,
swell, and then gradually diffuse and disperse. The initial solution is very heterogeneous, and the consistency of concentration
can be achieved only after stirring for a period of time. This process requires
good equipment and correct operation, so it is possible to complete this
process in a short time. And some customers also worry about whether the short
time of dissolving polyacrylamide may affect its treatment effect. In fact, this can also be neglected
because it mainly depends on how their water treatment equipment works. If the feeding port is still a period of
time away from the treatment tank, it can also save a part of the time, and the
sedimentation tank needs to precipitate about half an hour. When the water ratio is larger than the
material ratio, the dissolution time can be shortened. Of course, scientific
operation is the best.
